Wooden Eye Wear
Campbell Marson exceptionally engineered wooden frames are hand made by our own in house cabinet makers, with each pair going through an 80 stage process of manufacturing. We combine both modern and traditional techniques and some of our methods are exclusive to us.
We hand finish each and every frame in either mat or gloss lacquer, ready for a final buff and polish in order to create a truly exquisite Campbell Marson cabinet makers finish.
All our wood veneers go through a selection process before manufacturing begins, and all our veneers come from managed forests with certification. We perform our own due diligence on all our wood suppliers and where and how they source their logs, and we have access to some of the most beautiful and rare timbers in the world. Our range is huge, and we stock over 30 species of wood veneers.
The wood veneers for each pair of frames we manufacture are carefully selected to make sure the grain pattern is varied and exciting. In the case of burr woods, the selection process is even more stringent, with only tight grained figuration allowed. We are also able to secure some unique timbers for custom frames when required. For very special work, like our F1 marquetry range, we splice our own veneers making them truly unique.
