All our wooden glasses are also available on matt finish. Matt lacquering them means they will still be safe and protected enough to last as long as the shiny ones. Matt finish is an option for those who prefer to see and touch the originality of the wood.
This is one of our rare round shape models. We wanted to create a variety of our wooden glasses, therefore, we designed some round shape models that also clarify that wood can also be manipulated and bend into your favourite form of wooden eyewear.
In our first year of manufacture, Campbell Marson 104 frames in Santos Rosewood have been shortlisted for ‘Frame of The Year’ in the 2017 Optician Awards. Since then it remains to be one our bestseller from all of our wooden eyewear.
CM161 is one of the first wooden models we created. It is still highly required because of its special nose bridge blending cut. After cutting the frames out on a CNC machine, the frames then go through dozens of processes including hours of hand sanding in order to achieve a ‘cabinet makers’ finish. The frames are sanded using different grades of sandpaper until the frames are super smooth and ready for the lacquering process.
